I wish I could have a crystal ball and predict when you will get results from any marketing you do. If I could predict the future, I would save you and myself a lot of heartaches, I would personally avoid any future boyfriends and make the right decisions every time!
Wouldn’t that be nice for you as well? However, I can’t promise when you will get results, leads, traction, and reputation. Only 2% of the world’s population is wealthy and there’s a reason why. Business is complicated and most businesses fail, so we can’t promise ROI’s. Any smart and honest marketer will not guarantee your success. Even with the proper tools, state of the art technology, the latest knowledge, some brands and campaigns fail.
I don’t want to focus on the negative, heck, there’s an oversaturation online as we speak. What I will focus on are hope and realistic expectations.
You will not get leads for a minimum of 6 months. That’s the expectation. When a company hires Samson Virtual, 80% of my clients have received leads or inquires within the first month. We are talking about organic leads. There is a method to Samson Virtual’s success, I won’t give my secret away, but it has to do with Social Media and Content Marketing.
I call it the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time should be interests or hobbies that your potential customer is into. For example, if we were building up an online presence for a Real Estate Broker for recruitment of potential agents, what type of content would we create? Would it be photos of random food or pictures of babies? Probably not, only if I was specifically targeting Real Estate Agents that were new moms or parents, but still I would not encourage that strategy because the chances are extremely slim to attract the number of candidates for the company. I would focus on 80% of the time:
- TOP GOLF!
- Events in the city you live in
- Alcohol mentions or recipes
- Coffee mentions or recipes
- Places to Party
- Success Quotes/Humor Memes
The chances increase when you focus on the interests of the audience you are going to target. Then 20% of the time, you SELL! Nobody likes to be sold to, but everybody likes to buy.
Think about it, when you look at someone’s social media account and all they have on their page is “Listed Home” “Real Estate” “DIY Projects”, you roll your eyes and scroll past fast….It’s too aggressive, too-in-your-face, and too “sales-y”.
Remember the 80/20 rule. It’s a proven method to get interested in your business. Time and time, I get organic leads from my audience because they see what I do, overall like my posts, they want to do business with me.
If you haven’t read Dale Carnegie’s’ “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by now, you should. What my 80/20 rule teaches us how to win friends online and influence them to purchase your product.
It’s simple yet complicated, but that is the first step in getting organic leads. Try it yourself, I just gave you a free roadmap to getting a value of thousands for free. If you can’t figure it out and need professional help, hire Samson Virtual.
It’s simple. Trust the experts and the chances increase to get leads and ROI sooner. Just remember, it is YOUR job to convert the leads so hire or learn how to do proper sales.
